Collin College ADN Spring 2024

Hi there! I'm so curious to see what amount of points is considered competitive for this cohort. I used the scoresheet on Collin's website, and it looks like I'm applying with 21.53 points. Hopefully that's enough! Fingers crossed we get in!

Hi Emily!

I'm not entirely sure what would be competitive. I think this is only the first or second cycle that they have scored Micro the same way as the A&P's. I'm applying with 25.03. I got an email saying that they'd send our letters the week of 7/18. Fingers crossed ??

That's such a great point score! I applied online and haven't gotten any emails other than where to upload my documents LOL. Not sure if I should be worried or not ?

Hey, question, what do you mean by they are scoring Micro the same way they are scoring A&P? I don't recall seeing that, but I totally may have missed it. TIA for any help.

So they didn't used to award points based on your letter grade for Micro. You just completed the course, and it went towards your one point for completion of all pre-reqs. They've changed it so that now you get points for your letter grade...5 for an A, 4 for a B etc.

Nothing yet. I called yesterday, and the lady said they would send notices this week or next. I think it will be this week, though. She didn't seem like she even knew that we were told notices would be sent this week when we submitted our applications. 

Oh wow! Thanks for the update. Hopefully it will be this week. I don't think I can take waiting any longer.

Has anyone heard anything from them? I wish they would at least give us un update on if they're running behinddd

Haven't heard anything yet. I'm hoping we hear back today but who knows. It did say we should hear back some time this week. 

Nothing yet. At this point, I'm thinking we probably won't hear anything back until around this time next week.
