  1. They sent out acceptance emails yesterday. And I got one! YAY me. I am getting my RN. Woot! Woot! I hope everyone got acceptance emails too ?
  2. So does that mean that all LVN graduate students are admitted first, and then all other students are chosen? Does anyone know how many they plan to accept?
  3. I decided not to retest. I am going to go with the points I have. If I figured correctly, I have 21.88 points. My overall GPA is good I think. If it is meant to be, I will get in with what I have. I hope more people will chime in ?
  4. I am going to apply for Collin LVN-RN Spring 2025. I am trying to decide if I want to retake the TEAS exam. I took it last minute for another program. I did better than I thought considering I only had a few days to study. This time I would at least have a couple of weeks to study. I am going to look at my points with what I have now.
  5. They could have at least sent out an email to those who applied, as a courtesy ?
  6. I literally want to cry because I want this more than anything. I have been trying to do this for a very, very long time. I wish they would just let everyone in, and let people become nurses. Lord knows we need all the nurses we can get right now.
  7. Hi, I also applied to the LVN-RN program. I also got the email to resend paperwork that possibly didn't get uploaded. I am so nervous. My heart is pounding as I type. I want in so so bad. I will be resending my stuff today. But I missed the Zoom sessions due to working. Do you think that would be held against me?
  8. I am going into the LVN program because I got tired of being rejected for the ADN programs. I don't mind bridging to get to the ADN. My goal is my BSN. And I am not going to stop until I get there. At least this way I can work, and make more money than being the PCT that I am currently. Becoming a nurse has been a lifelong dream for me. And I am going to get there by any means necessary.
  9. I am glad that I read this thread. I was going to apply to the El Centro/North Lake ADN programs. I am glad I was accepted into the EC LVN program.
  10. I too was accepted into the LVN program at El Centro. I am so excited!
  11. HESI--87.2 ( and I am not retaking) CT--11.4 I am just needing supporting courses: A/P 2, Pharmacolocy, Patho. I have Ethics and Microbiology. I am going to take A/P2 and another course in the Fall. I will take courses for points to apply later. I just need to see the Spring admission requirements (if there are changes from the Fall).
  12. I had to go back and look at the email. I applied this time last year, for spring 2017, with 28.93 points. And those would be the same points this year, because I was not able to take additional classes. But I plan to this fall semester. I know that they won't count, but I will have the classes for when I can apply at Brookhaven, or somewhere else.
  13. I often wondered why they accept fewer students in the spring? If the number of points to be considered competitive is 34, I don't think I will be applying for the Spring 2018 class.
  14. I am back to try again. I did not make the cut last year. I am a little afraid because I have not been able to take any additional classes. But I have to try. I know their maybe requirements changes. I am waiting to see the Spring 2018 requirements. I did not see them on the website. It still had Fall 2017 schedules and deadlines.
  15. See me now, or see me later...
