Hey everyone I haven't seen a forum for this one yet and decided to create one.

I just got accepted into another program that's closer to my home so I'm probably going to go with that college! I'm still going to wait on collins admissions decision tho

Wow, congrats

Y'all I'm so paranoid to get disqualified over something missing on my application LOL

What kind of transcripts would be acceptable for colleges other than Collin? Unofficial right? Because an official transcript would be in a sealed envelope correct? Ugh I'm losing my mind ?

Okay, so I am from another college and I applied to collin nursing. It says you have to send in your official transcript to admissions and have it evaluated too. Although you send in your unofficial transcript in the application you have to get you transcript evaluated or atlease send it in.

Does anyone know if we will hear anything before the acceptance/rejection emails go out?

@SaltedPineapple, Congrats!!

@SaltedPineapple, Congrats!!

I'm hoping soon. I need to decide on a school but apps didn't close until march 1st so we won't hear back until April

That's what I was wondering, too. Do they just get all the information together and email everyone at once? Do they start letting people know if they're a yes early? I guess we'll see.

@SaltedPineapple, how long do you have to let the other school know?  That is stressful!  Is Collin your #1 choice?

@Marissa Wells previous semesters they've emailed everyone acceptance/rejection letters at the same time.  And based on previous forums, it's always later than they initially say it will be.  ha.  I'm sure they're swamped with applications.

I'm wondering if they email us like a week in advance to let us know to look for the acceptance/rejection email?  Or send an eligibility email letting us know they received all our documents and we're in the running?  I just really don't like the silence, especially when we can't see our application, and can't confirm they got everything they needed.

I already told them yes. It's my back up school but I've applied to a few others that are a little cheaper
