Hey guys! Who here is applying for the fall 2020 term? Anyone else here unable to take the TEAS due to the cancellations? I signed up for two test dates, both of which were canceled. I see they've updated the process with alternatives put in place for those who were unable to take the TEAS. That being said, it's still super confusing since the admission process is points-based and a major part of the selection criteria is your TEAS scores. I hope this doesn't mean that those who were unable to take the TEAS are not going to be prioritized in the admissions process. ?
Hi Guys!
Just curious, who has put in their application already? With what grades?
I have a B in all my sciences and a 79 on the TEAS. I'm hoping its enough to get in, but then again I have B's. Just curious what everyone else is going in on to see what my chances are!
I also already have an associates, so I am hoping that will bump my chances!
Good luck to everyone!

Hey! I will be submitting my application as soon as I take the TEAS (May 28th). I have a 4.0, but not feeling so confident about how I'll do on the TEAS, so hopefully, the A's will help balance out if my TEAS score is not as high. 79 is great, good job! I had a friend who got accepted into the Spring term with Micro in progress and one B in A&P, so I definitely think you still have a solid chance. I wonder how long it will take to hear back them on whether we were accepted or not.

From what I’ve read the past semesters they got back within a month after deadlines! But, this is the first year with the TEAS so it might be different!
Good luck on your TEAS! I felt more comfortable being at home then in a cold classroom setting!

Is there anyone here who took the TEAS test for collin college on 5/18/20? I got an email that it was cancelled and results invalid because proctorio wasn't working. Is it for everyone?
Hi,
I have a friend who took the exam and had a glitch, she has to retake the exam tomorrow. You might try contacting ATI to find out what you need to do.
I am applying for the fall program. I have completed all 3 science courses and have a 4.0 from those. I got a 70% overall on my TEAS so I am afraid that might hold me back. Does anyone know how many days a week they will hold class once the program starts? Or how soon we find out rather or not we are accepted?

I think its within a month from the application deadline. Can we submit an unofficial transcript?

I have all 3 prerequisites. Thank you for the info

Hey! It should be the same as if you were at the testing center, you'll just have someone watching you through webcam, do a 360 of your room before starting, etc, to ensure no cheating. You'll have an on-screen calculator and you'll be allowed scratch paper as well.
Good luck on your exam!! Mine is on the 28th and I'm so nervous, primarily about the math. Let me know how it goes for you. ?
