Collin College ADN program Fall 2022

Published

Hi, I know it’s kinda early but I wanted to start a string for those applying to Collin college ADN/RN program in the Fall of 2022. I just want to know where I fall points wise and competitive wise to others who are also applying this coming Fall.

You also have to think about this…even though it is 2 subjects, you’re going to be studying for 4 different classes (micro lab, micro lecture, A&P lab, and A&P lecture). What sucked was when lots of the tests fell on the same day, then you have to learn to prioritize what is important to you.

It’s really up to your discretion. They are two different sciences, so for some people they well in one, but not the other.

I personally wouldn’t unless you have  no other choice but to do them at the same time. I found  both to be very time consuming to study. I persally did that in 2020 and I also did chem 1 with them and it was the worst thing I ever did. On paper it seems fine but the last thing you want to do is put yourself in the position to either do really well in one and not the other or do bad in both because of the work load.

I agree! As I stated above they are on different spectrums as far as what each entails. So I would recommend not taking them together unless you plan to fully commit to studying constantly. In my opinion, micro was easy( I absolutely love it) , but A&P 2 was more studying and understanding. So if you struggle any at all, I would say take your time and take them separately.

It honestly depends on what your strong suit is. You are going to excel in one or the other. I excelled in A&P and struggled with micro (that is also because I didn’t take biology my freshman year, as I clepped out of it, so I was very rusty with bio itself).

I don’t suggest it. But if you have to, do it. Again it is doable, just takes a lot of commitment.

Yes, I forgot about biology. I would suggest taking 1406 as well if you haven’t. It will help out a lot.

I hope all of our comments help you! Good luck ❤️
