Hello future nurses, 

Just wanted to start a thread for Fall 2023 College of the Sequoias nursing applicants. Good luck to everyone applying. Fingers crossed for us all ?

So it's now Friday. I wonder if the letters will be going out today

I am continuing the obsession, this time aimed at the usps and informed delivery system ?. My mail I received yesterday was not at all the mail that was pictured in that day's email notification. I read somewhere that it's scanned at the *first* usps sorting facility, so I'm thinking we could conceivably be getting email notifications tomorrow maybe? Maybe just wishful thinking, but does anyone know any more on that whole system's timing? I did read from previous cohorts that accepted students get a manilla envelope, and that usually shows up as unscannable or some crap on informed delivery. Unfortunately, like the rejections, alternates get the white letter sized envelope (I believe), so that might be extra anxiety inducing if that's what you see in your upcoming mail ?

So I was snooping through last falls forums and it seems like the letters were mailed out on the Friday and most people received them/were notified by USPS informed delivery on the Monday. I really don't know how im going to stay sane till Monday ?

GIRL SAME. ? I tested my theory about informed delivery letting us know before the day the mail arrives, and I was distraught to find out that no, we get the email on the same day as the mail's arrival. I actually got the email yesterday AFTER the mail had already arrived, so that's wildly unhelpful. I've been obsessing so much that my kid asked if I was alright because I was roaming the house, muttering to myself and looking for projects to do ?

Good morning. I signed into my informed delivery last night at about 8pm and it showed todays mails. So check your informed delivery via the app tonight! I've been doing this a few days. The email comes the morning of but if you sign in at about 8 pm it will have the next days mail under todays mail. Hopefully that holds true for Mondays mail tonight!

I... I think I love you? LOL  My guess is if that holds true, we'll be able to see it Sunday night, but I would just about die if it was tonight ? Thank you so much and good luck!

You were totally right, it does update at 8 the night before! So I guess 8 tomorrow we should know more! ??? GAAAAH I'm gonna be at work!

So my USPS informed delivery just updated but unfortunately as of right now I have 2 pieces of junk mail arriving tomorrow. Hoping there is still time for it to update again with something from COS!! I'm losing my marbles checking informed delivery every hour ?

I just checked mine too! I CANNOT FREAKIN BELIEVE THAT ***'S NOT ARRIVING TOMORROW!! I'm still gonna be haunting my mailbox, but.... not a happy camper.
