Hello future nurses, 

Just wanted to start a thread for Fall 2023 College of the Sequoias nursing applicants. Good luck to everyone applying. Fingers crossed for us all ?

Somebody please explain to me how my titers were good to go for measles and mumps, but not rubella. ? they're literally administered together in the same injection! Anybody else's old *** body somehow rid itself of the "R" in MMR and need to restart the series?

Me LOL. I need the mumps.

I'm not selected but apparently it happens. I've had 3 babies and they check to see if you have immunity to MMR and I always come out with zero immunity to rubella even though I've gotten the boosters after each pregnancy.. some people just will never develop immunity I guess.

Hi everyone, I was originally an alternate but was accepted into the program. I am confused on the whole registration process. I know they said they would give us more info on when to register but I do see the courses are listed in the canvas orientation. Does anyone know when we will find out more in regards to registering for those courses?

Hi, can I ask what alternate number were you? And also how did they let you know? I'm also an alternate

Hi, I was an alternate for the bridge program. They called me the week before Orientation to let me know a seat had become available.

What brand of shoes is everyone looking to buy? I know they have to be white leather. Any suggestions?

If I can swing it, I'm gonna get On brand's The Roger shoes. White leather, super comfortable, and designed for lots of movement ?

Anyone gotten into COS and can tell us a little about scheduling?? Is the process hard like a long waiting list? Anyone have any experience at all with their LVN-RN bridge I'm scrambling looking for a school ?
