Wondering where you landed with this? I'm interested in the program but have to complete Organic Chemistry requirement and not sure where to do that??? Everywhere seems to offer it in 2 semesters, do you know if that's necessary for CMSV? TIA!

Depends on the level of Organic chemistry. I took essentials of organic at Lehman College for one semester specific for nurses. The organic chemistry of one year you are talking about is mostly for pre-med, PA’s and related fields

Thanks... Spoke to them, portage class works so that's great.
Usually, if a program requires 1 organic Chemistry course, then taking the first term course (I.e., Organic Chemistry 1) of a two part series (I.e., Organic Chemistry 1 and 2) will be sufficient. If you need an online organic Chemistry course, please let me know. I do not like to see students unnecessarily delayed.
Hello All,
I recently got accepted into the ABNS prog at CMSV Summer 2020 (riverdale campus)and I must finish the pre req prior to start.Am currently doing the pre req via portage learning.
wanted to find out how the program is run at cmsv,is it doable with a part/full time job?are lectures everyday and please what time of the day?where are the clinicals done?I just need all these info so I can begin requesting for a change of shift/schedule at my current job.
am taking the a&p1&2,mcb,and organic Chemistry but I have done these courses in the past so its not enirely new to me since I have a bachelors in physical therapy.
any advice/help will be appreciated.
Hey guys! I know we’ve been crazy busy or Stuck in our homes but has anyone heard anything from the nursing program? Last time I heard somebody tested positive and they shut the campus but I want to know if things are still gonna be running? If the program will continue as Summer or fall before I put in my deposit. Anyone heard anything? Or heard from other schools? And how is your financial aid package?

I just got accepted for the ABSN while still completing prereqs. Just have to get a B or better in those courses to keep the acceptance.

Okay, great! Would you happen to know if there is any issues with repeating and pre-req courses? I didn't do so great at the beginning of college and retook my pre-reqs to do better.

I'm also repeating my pre-reqs for the same reason so I'd love to know the answer to this.
