Hello everyone, please I need your help,I got two offers for the above company and am very undecided about which one to go with,nyp queens is an 1199 union position(med surg orthopaedic) and the base pay plus night differential is about 102k/annual,WHILE nyu longisland is a med surg vent and non union and base pay plus differential is about 4k more.I live in long island and commute for nyu is about 35 mins and nyp queens about 50 mins,does any one currently work in any of these hospitals,please can you share your experience/advice,Is there anything I should know before accepting? nyp queens is not magnet and nyu long island is magnet. please any advice will go a long way,thank you.

I got accepted for Summer 2020 but we were moved to fall 2020 due to the pandemic,All acceptance is based on completion of your pre req and is boldy written on the acceptance letter,but keep in mind I have taken these courses before(its been over 5 years) so am not sure if that gave me an edge(am currently taking them via portage learning),yes they

with everything you stated plus your work experience,am almost certain you will get in,I was offered the option of taking the pre reqs in their Summer school but because I currently work as a physical therapist so I chose portage which was also recommended by cmsv and its solely online and done at your pace and time,no one likes organic chem including me,managed to pass it years back and hopefully will get a B this time around, yes you have to show proof of registration of those pre reqs,when I registered for all the courses with portage I was able to forward proof of registration of the courses before I got the official offer letter. Hopefully will see you in fall,do you live in ny?I live in queens and work in the Bronx.

@Jeff GI got accepted without completing the pre reqs but must complete it by august before classes start in the fall,but keep in my mind I did all the pre reqs before but its been over 5 years,my gp was quite above 3.5.The acceptance/offer letter bodly stated admission is pending successful completion of all the pre reqs and must have atleast a grade of B or better.

Hello All, I recently got accepted into the ABNS prog at CMSV Summer 2020 (riverdale campus)and I must finish the pre req prior to start.Am currently doing the pre req via portage learning. wanted to find out how the program is run at cmsv,is it doable with a part/full time job?are lectures everyday and please what time of the day?where are the clinicals done?I just need all these info so I can begin requesting for a change of shift/schedule at my current job. am taking the a&p1&2,mcb,and organic Chemistry but I have done these courses in the past so its not enirely new to me since I have a bachelors in physical therapy. any advice/help will be appreciated.
