college where nursing school/clinicals are offered at a later time?

U.S.A. Ohio

I'm a freshman nursing student at Cedarville University (in Ohio). Cedarville's nursing classes are only held at 8am and the clinicals for junior/senior year are at 6am. This is a problem for me because I have chronic severe migraines that are the worst the earlier I have to wake up. So these early times are really rough on me because I always have a bad migraine at the time of my classes leaving me unable to concentrate. Does anyone know of a college/nursing school (preferably a Christian school) that offers their classes/clinicals at later times?

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Most BSN programs are traditional programs. Most community colleges offer online or evening/weekend programs. I know Tri-C does.

LCCC and Tri-C both offer evening and weekend courses. I'm not sure of any Christian colleges that do, sorry.

Specializes in CNA in LTC, Hospital.

I am sorry about your migraines. I get those too. They are probably worse in the morning because you are changing the sleep pattern. when i was in college(for non nursing degree) i would get migraines if i slept earlier or later than usual but once my body got used to that time it went away. I dont live in Ohio so i am not sure of schools there but I know people who go to Liberty university a Chrisitian school in lynchburg, virginia( i think). I found one in Ohio that you can look into : http://www.ohiochristian.edu/undergrad/ba/nursing. Try calling them to see how flexible they are. if it is a medical issue they should be able to make accomodations or put you in late classes. Try this one also:
