So I just got my acceptance a couple hours ago (weird how some of these schools send out the decision email in the evening)! Just wondering if anyone else is considering CNR, currently attends, has attended, or will definitely be attending in the Fall. I think at this point I'm deciding between CNR and Nassau. I like that with CNR I'd be able to finish my BSN in the same time frame (2 years) as getting an ADN from Nassau, and that I'd be able to apply for summer externships that seem to only accept applications from BSN students. However, the cost is throwing me off, and I'm not sure I'd be able to handle it. I already have ~60K in student loans. I did apply for financial aid, so I guess I'll have to wait until I hear from that decision as well. Is it worth the cost?
AHH, hard decision. But yeah, just wanted to know if there are any other CNR people on here.
OK so I was attempting to answer the private message that you sent me, but it just up and disappeared. Neven sure how to get bato ck it. Sorry Im so delayed. The summer schedule is NO FREAKING JOKE!! 3 exams a week and skills checks every Friday. My suggestion...just start reading now lol. Can you send me another private message??
You're alive! Haha, no problem, good to hear from you, I figured you'd be swamped. I'll send you another PM.
I did buy the supply bag, which you need to perform your skills checks. It has needles, IV bag, Dressing Tray, uh fake insulin..etc etc. All the items you need to practice your nursing skills. I ended up buying all my books online. Those books are freaking HUGE and It turned out to work out pretty well for me
Nice, yeah I actually decided to buy the supply bag through the bookstore website, got it 2 days ago. Had fun looking through all the things. I've got most of the books so far, I bought all used (except the clinical calculations book and the fundamentals success book since I figured it didn't make sense to get those with writing already in them), all online too. The Fundamentals Book is HUGE, like ridiculously.
