Hi all! I wanted to start this thread for those who have applied/been accepted to The College of New Rochelles accelerated nursing program starting in the Summer of 2019. I thought it would be helpful to meet other applicants and give us all some insight!

Yes! They are just waiting on NYS Department of Education to give Mercy the approval to have an ABSN program. We should hear by May 1st if it goes through. Mercy’s plan is to have everything still be at CNR campus with most CNR professors that they will be hiring. If the approval goes through the summer cohort will still begin in June.

I spoke with an advisor and they said lectures and clinicals will be held in Dobbs Ferry and around the Bronx. I was hoping classes would still be held at cnr vs Mercy ??♀️

Really! Hopefully they figure it out and we get some definite answers soon. As long as it actually starts I'm okay wherever classes will be hahah.
To the students that have been accepted into CNR traditional or transfer this is the info that I received know because I am in the same predicament and I have running around for answers myself. As of right now Mercy is not accepting anymore transfer students into there nursing program because they only had 30 seats available for CNR students and only 20 for there students. unless they receive an approval from the state to use the CNR nursing bldg or someone decides not to honor there acceptance then your best bet is to reach out to other schools, because this will be a rough time for us all. keep your heads guys and don't give up.

Yes this is true. They sent out an email to all of the accepted students. If you were an accepted student you had to put down a deposit to.hold your seat. They sent this email last Wednesday- at that time they had 11 seats left.

unfortunately I wasn't one of the students that was accepted, so I will hear what concordia's decision is by tomorrow. did you get in?

I honestly want to join the WhatsApp group but I haven't been accepted to Concordia yet so I have to cross my fingers and hope I get in.
