College of New Rochelle CNR Summer 2019

Hi all! I wanted to start this thread for those who have applied/been accepted to The College of New Rochelles accelerated nursing program starting in the Summer of 2019. I thought it would be helpful to meet other applicants and give us all some insight!

Hello! Does anyone know when we can expect to hear about orientation and class scheduling?

Hi guys! I got my acceptance for Summer 2019 in December and sent in my deposit but I haven't heard anything since. I was told I would receive information by email hopefully soon.

Also was anyone else able to log into their myCNR account and student email?

*UPDATE* just saw online that Orientation is June 4th 9am-3pm. I emailed them to confirm and to see how to register.

I was able to confirm that this is the Orientation date and that we should be receiving an email late February with information to register.

I called today to try and get more information since I haven't heard a word since I received my letter in the mail back in November. I'm not receiving emails for some reason and they're going to fix it. Has anyone else heard anything else as far as emails or anything goes?

Thanks niccicc for confirming the orientation date that definitely makes me feel a lot better lol

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like everyone gets accepted at CNR? I have yet to hear of someone who applied and was rejected.

emilianany I also asked myself the same thing. maybe those rejected are not commenting too. I applied to columbia mde a school that rejected me a year ago and I never commented on the posts. crossing fingers though??

I just applied for the summer program, how long did It take to hear back from them or get a letter of acceptance

Hi everyone, I am a current applicant and was just wondering, how long did the application part take. like from the time you submitted your application to the time those of you that are accepted received your acceptance letter?

mine took about or less than 3 weeks. I mailed my transcripts right after the holidays in December. I submitted my application on the 24. and received a letter in the mail on January 19. the letter was dated 16. so it's pretty fast.

I submitted my application November 10th and received my letter on December 17th. Good luck!
