College of New Rochelle CNR Spring 2019

Published

Hello all - I wanted to start this thread for students who are applying or have been accepted into the Spring 2019 Accelerated BSN Program at The College of New Rochelle in NY. Hoping we can share tips/advice and ask any questions to make this a smooth process for everyone!

Congrats on getting accepted everyone! I also just got accepted and submitted my deposit last week. I am currently looking at housing options in the area. How is the process going for everyone?

Congrats!! Yay!! I'm currently waiting to hear about next steps from CNR after submitting he deposit, nothing new yet! Any luck on housing??

Thank you!!! I called them after I submitted the deposit and I was told to expect an email about next steps in about 2-3 weeks. No luck on housing yet. I just started looking. What about you?

Gotcha! I will probably commute to save $$ since the drive is not terribly far for me!

Oh nice!! I can't commute from New Jersey everyday. It will be taking too much of time. How far away do you live?

If anyone else is looking for housing, please let me know!!

It's a 30 minute drive for me! I'll let you know if I hear that anyone else is looking for housing :) I feel like January is going to come sooner than we think!!

Omggg I know right!!

Hi everyone! I also applied for the spring 2019 semester and am waiting to hear back! Those of you who were accepted- do you mind sharing your stats? Also, how many recommendations did you send in since they were optional??

Hii! I sent in 3 recommendations, I believe. Barely any clinical experience other than a hospital internship and volunteering. My grades were mostly bs and a c+

Hey Adeeee or anyone looking into off campus housing, I'm actually in the process of finding off campus housing now. I was going to see if I'd be able to room with a friend who's currently in the program but won't since it'll be her last semester and she'll be leaving. Off campus housing would be a better option rather than on campus because it would be less costly. I was thinking maybe if I could possibly find a roommate then we'd be able to split the cost of rent into 2 people. Maybe we could even FaceTime and discuss this and get to know each other by asking a couple questions just so we could see if it's a possibility. This is only if you agree to all of this of course

Yes please! I'm definitely interested. We could FaceTime to talk more. What's your email address so I could send you my number? I don't think I can send you a pm on here
