Hello,

I have applied way back when and have been waiting on Mercy College to see what’s going on. Have you heard anything?

The last person I spoke to at CNR said that Mercy was waiting to get accredited for the absn program and it should happen in May. After that they should start rolling out admission decisions for September but I haven’t heard any updates yet and now the person I spoke to (Brian) doesn’t work at CNR anymore.

Is this the school you’re still waiting on?

I talked to Nancy from Mercy just now and she confirmed that they will be accredited and they should be starting to go through applications for the fall soon.

Yea I’m waiting on that school and then I’m going to apply everywhere else for spring admission (Pace, Montefiore, VCU)

Yea, I’m right there with you. I’m hoping for spring admission to Pace. But will also apply to Stony Brook, NJCU, And maybe Wagner. The majority of my science classes are >5 years so choices are limited for BSN programs.

I was thinking of stony brook too but I don’t have health insurance and can’t apply for it until November and I know that’s a requirement for Stony.

Oh yes it is, I am excited that Mercy is getting this program. I don’t think they have yet started viewing our applications. Unless you have heard differently?

I haven’t heard anything really yet. I spoke to Paul Reid of Mercy and he said “that as long as you have submitted all your documents it’s should be with the processing team for review and will be contacted shortly.” But I don’t know what shortly means to them because I haven’t heard anything since. Maybe you can try to contact him and will receive a thorough answer than I did.

Hey! I haven’t, I called three times last week and went to voicemail each time. The summer cohort has started I know that.

I called the admissions office today and they said there’s still no update and probably won’t be until it gets closer to the fall?! And that if I were to hear anything it would be through mail ?. So frustrating.
