College math RIO

Wondering if anyone has taken the college level math requirement through RIO? Never taken a math course online and wanted to see what the work load is like. Thanks.

Have you taken any math higher than 140? If so, then you are good to go. If you took math below a 140 level, I doubt it is easier. I took Math 120 previously (years and years ago because it was the least required for nursing), and it was definitely easier than 140.

Yeah, I now have to take 140 since the change the catalog. But at least I made it time with current pre reqs to get into this next round of nursing classes.

You'll do FINE! It's not that hard. If I can do it, anyone can. I got an A in both. Are you taking both online?

I took MAT142 and just completed it in December. I did also take microbiology online last summer, and I think it was probably the most difficult online class I've ever taken. I got an A, but it was a ton of work. The tests were very hard, however, they were open book. Still, I think it was difficult to teach myself. My husband is in the Army and while he is an officer now, he was enlisted to begin with and was a lab tech. He helped me out with a lot of concepts in micro. I could have passed without his help, but he has a great way of explaining things, and it was helpful.
