Yes, you will be notified by your COM email, so make sure you are checking that one regularly. I really enjoy the program, it's very supportive and most of the students are able to still work at least part-time while attending.
Hi there aspiring nurses!
As the director of the registered nursing program at College of Marin, I am thrilled to be working with our engaged and creative students. We are using this platform for the first time to provide answers to your questions and updates on our registration process. This was a brilliant suggestion from members of our Student Nurses Association, like gummybear2002!
So, here's the update. In the past, there have been some issues with deactivated MyCOM email addresses. Working with the folks in our IT department, we have developed a new plan.
We are now sending a notice of acceptance to your personal email address with instructions on how to re-activate your MyCOM email account, if necessary. Once you receive this email, we ask that you send us an email from your MyCOM account to verify that it works. We will then send instructions with next steps.
The first notices have just gone out. Please watch your personal email addresses closely over the next few weeks and respond to instructions promptly. But also realize that we have to give folks time to respond, and that means that this process may take weeks until we get the class filled.
Also, watch this space for more updates and answers to general questions. :-)
Warm Regards,
Dr. Alicia Bright
