  1. Hi there, this is the link to the multi criteria form for the nursing application. The criteria is subject to change, but this should provide you with the information you need. https://hs.marin.edu/sites/default/files/Multi-Criteria-Admissions-2023.pdf
  2. Hello! Congratulations and welcome to the program! Starting nursing school can be very overwhelming and at times emotional, so it's great to be in touch with fellow students to support one another. The cohort last year made a Facebook group to communicate and we shared the link here on allnurses. You might also be able to message one another through the canvas for the flex week class if you are already registered. Please feel free to continue to ask any questions here and myself and others will do our best to respond. We're looking forward to meeting you all! Chelsea College of Marin 2nd Year RN Student Liaison
  3. Hello! Last year the course grids came out on August 1st, so expect to receive it late July to early August. Hope you're enjoying Summer!
  4. Hi Denise! The required textbooks will be provided once you are registered for classes. Many of the classes have an online assignment component with the textbooks that require specific access codes from each course. There is a flexweek before classes start in the fall and all the textbooks and access codes are provided at that time. Let me know if you have any other questions!
  5. Yes, you will be notified by your COM email, so make sure you are checking that one regularly. I really enjoy the program, it's very supportive and most of the students are able to still work at least part-time while attending.
  6. I am entering the 2nd year of this program and I am the student liason. I created this forum so it could be shared with newly admitted students when acceptance letters go out later this month. Good luck!
  7. Congratulations on your acceptance into the COM nursing program! Feel free to use this platform to connect with other newly admitted students or to ask questions and receive advice from second year students in the program.
  8. Congratulations to you as well! A Facebook group or something of the sort sounds great. I'd be happy to start one and share here in the next couple days if someone doesn't beat me to it. Looking forward to meeting you all this fall!
  9. Congratulations! I just got the email as well! See you this fall!
  10. Congratulations!! I just got my acceptance email as well. So excited!! All that hard work is starting to pay off! See you this fall!
  11. LOL I've been sending test emails to my student account. It definitely works, just no news. I know today is the first possible day we can hear. Logically I know to just wait, but emotionally I'm a wreck!! Good luck everyone!!
  12. Fingers crossed! This has been such a lesson in patience.
  13. Hi everyone! If previous emails were correct, acceptance letters should start going out today. Has anyone heard anything? I've been anxiously waiting to find out anymore information. I'm glad I found this thread.
