You can check this status on the website. I did mine a week ago too and it still says "In progress".

When are you getting your titer?!? im sure it will be pos. but on the letter they sent with the acceptance letter it has flu not due until after aug. 25th. i kept that immunization record sheet just for that since i already had one filled out !
Ok cool thanks i was getting a little worried about that!
Yeah, I think they pushed back the flu immunization deadline since the email I received in may. I am getting my titer done July 16th. It says the background check should only take 3-5 business days, but mine is taking longer.
Yeah well good luck with the titer, i am not sure what they would do if it is neg. again, there isnt much they could do...

I did the background check and it took almost 2 weeks to get back. Just print out a copy of it in case the school dont receive it.
I think if you titer negative then you may have to take the series over again because that means your body didnt develop the antibodies for hep b. Hope everything comes out ok.
I've heard something about a wavier for the hep b. I don't know. We will see. I know I have antibodies... just not enough to make me "immune" as per the CDC rating.
sorry... double post

Your schedule is quite complicated but I'll try to explain... For he first half of the semester there's Health assessment MW 1-3:50. And Skills I Thu either 8:30-12:20 or 10:30-1:50 for the whole semester. The second half you have intro to nursing WF 9:30-10:50 and clinical either M,W or Sat from 6:30-6:30. Hope this helps, :-)

Oh and you don't get to choose which section of skills you're in or your clinical day or location. If you're working shoot for weekends, after 5 and off days. After first semester... Good luck with working cause it gets intense... But lots of my classmates still work.
