As far as the chickenpox, does history of disease count or do we need immunizations?

Yes, you will need to titer for chicken pox too unless you've had the vaccine.

I got my acceptance letter today!!! I pretty sure it had been in there a few days, Im really bad about checking my mail. I also signed up for the CPR class July 14th in League City so Ill see a few of yall there.

I'm so confused about the vaccinations. If I had the hepatitis B series when I was a kid, do I just need the titer? Also, do we not need the influenzae shot yet?

If you had the hep b series as a child, you just need a titer. They need proof you had the hep b series though. You need the flu shot before the July 27th deadline.

I just got the titer for hep b & no we do not need the flu vaccine yet. they said it was best to wait until the new series comes out. & as far as the vaccines go i brought my shot record with me to get my shots done & the nurses would not start my doses over, my MMR and chicken pox vaccine both only showed 1 dose in like 1990, so i could only get the 2nd dose like a month ago when i went & the ladies in the office told me that was fine.

They told me to get my flu vaccine when they sent me an email in May, so they probably changed things recently because not many people are giving the flu vaccine right now. I wonder what happens if we don't titer positive for hep b... I titered negative the first time I received the titer. I already had a booster series though and hopefully, I'll titer positive this time.

Also has anyone done the background check yet?!? i did it like a week ago but i am not sure if the nursing office recieved it. do they send you a letter or anything showing they got it??
