Helpppp! I missed the spring 2016 ADN deadlines for College of the Mainland so I'm planning on applying to the ADN program for Fall 2016. Is there anyone else considering to apply for the fall admissions too? Also, can anyone tell me what courses/things I can do to get ahead since I will have a whole semester to do so? Any information on the program will help. Thanks!
For anyone who is interested...San Jac Central has extended the deadline for their ADN Spring 2016 program until November 18th!!!
Hello RandBee,Quick question: How early are the clinicals/classes? I'm not much of a morning person so I'm just trying to (emotional, mentally and physically) prepare myself in case I have to wake up at 6 AM lol
You'll have to be up before 6am because clinicals start at 6 or 630am always. Classes are 8am. This is the current schedule. Get used to getting up early...welcome to nursing school :)
Yeah, my parents and my sister are all nurses and they said the same thing but I didn't want to believe them! Lol I'm definitely not complaining though; I'm just more anxious than anything. Thank you for answering my question :)
You're welcome. I'm not a morning person at all either plus I live an hour from the school so I had to be up for clinicals at 4am. It sucks but when you get there and start learning and interacting with patients, you forget you're tired.
If you or any other students have any other questions, feel free to ask. I'm only a first year but I'll try my best to answer any questions.

Question: I paid for the background check and fingerprint, does anyone have to do a DO? I'm not sure if I do that now and send it in. Anyone else have to do one?
