College of the Mainland ADN Fall 2018

Hello, just wanted to create a thread for everyone applying to COM's Fall 2018 ADN program. I stop by the school today and met with a Nursing Advisor, we went over the requirements needed (more like a one on one orientation). The link to apply to the program just showed up on my WebAdvisor. Hi everyone! Congratulations to who made it in.My best friend got accepted the other day.Right now I'm sitting around praying someone decline because I've been put on the alternate list.Not sure what number I am cause when I called to ask them.The lady said they don't give out numbers anymore and its,all electronically.Most schools give you a number so you can see what your chances are.This makes me even more nervous not knowing my chances.Ive been checking the web advisor everyday hoping to see a,positive change.Has anyone else been put on alternate list and got a change in status yet.

My best friend and I got into ALVIN's ADN program for Fall, we are both declining COM's. Goodluck to you and hang in there. I know the wait is nerve wrecking :(

Hello ALL!! I am Cheryl and I got into COM nursing this Fall. For those wondering about the info in the email, it should be sometime this week. Make sure to submit everything as timely as you can!!! I was accepted for the Spring but was not eligible due to my TDap. I work at Texas Childrens and I was denied by Employee Health due to hospital CDC regulations, so stay on top of making sure that ALL who were accepted get your info in on time! See you SOON!!!

Hi! I called last week and the lady said we should be getting an email sometime this week on updates and to upload immunization information.
