College of the Mainland ADN Fall 2017

Hi everyone. I haven't found a forum out there for COM Fall 2017. I recently found out about the school and will be turning in my application for the deadline. Anyone else out there ? :)

Hello all! Congrats to everyone getting in!! I am a returning student, still awaiting for final acceptance into the program. Is anyone in the same boat as I am?

Hello, fellow classmates I was accepted into the program too!!! I am like most and excited, nervous, anxious and happy all at the same time. I was able to get into the Dosage Calculations class and am eager to purchase my books already, ughhhhh I wish they would give us something to work on during the summer so that when the fall starts we are not pulling our hair out! lol Even though I'm sure we will be all bald by the time we graduate. If anyone can share some tips to do before hand I'm all ears.

And to mention we have to get 100 on all the math test. I'm going insane lol

Congrats to you all. Yes you have to make 100% on dosage calculation to be able to go to clinical. You have three attempt to make 100% if you don't then you fail out of the program. I am in the lvn transition program that started in may. So am not sure if it is the same with the generic program. This is what happened with the transition program. Best of luck to you all

Oh Wow! I can not believe they kick you out of the program if you fail. Have you take the dosage calculations (test, exam, or quiz) yet and if so, how did you do?

I am not sure...I called them to know what is going...no definite answer for alternate list.

Hey, I'm a new student for the fall program, but I only just found this. It's super helpful and I wish I thought of looking for a forum sooner. I tried searching that fb page too, but I couldn't find it. Anyone have a link?
