With a Undergrad. GPA of 3.55, do you guys think that getting into a Anesthetist program would be easy, or should I definately get my grades up while I can? Thanks!

Definately get your grades up while you can. There is a sticky at the top of this forum that should be able to answer your questions

Higher is always better, but many people get in with GPAs in that range. Mine was 3.4. As long as you don't have a D in chemistry or some other essential course, it's not a big deal. I actually had a C+ in the second semester of A&P, I'm embarrassed to admit. I applied to four school and was admitted to two the first time around.
what schools were they apais.?

Just a little advice...GPA is not everything. Yes, you should absolutely get the highest GPA you can; however, getting involved via shadowing CRNA's, making connections for references, and obtaining relative ICU experience can factor in heavily as well. ;)

All good points. How's your science classes? My gpa is lower than yours. I didn't kill the gre like some of these guys, but...............I killed on all the other stuff. Rememer, it's an application PACKAGE. Good grades are essential, but not the be all end all. Great ICU experience, CCRN, killer LOR's, good anesthesia references--I had more sent in than the minimum, and all the other things to show them that you are serious about being a crna and will succeed. Good luck!
