Hello All:

Starting a thread for those of us applying to COC Summer/ Fall 2019 RN program. I am specifically applying to the LVN to RN program. Lets keep each other updated on status.

Hello, when did you find out about your rejection?

You can apply next term, I'm so happy they admit twice a year. I might have to reapply as well.

So I applied for the bridge program and got my email on Friday

Oh okay, they are very strict! Yeah, I'm almost certain at this point there was something wrong with my app lol so ill be applying later, hopefully gives me more time to study for and take the TEAS. Good luck!

Do they offer the bridge twice a year or just the generic RN Program ?

I went ahead and called and I don’t know if a lot of people were calling and they were getting stressed but she was kinda rude. She said invitation may go out by this week or early next week.

I was taking communication during the winter session and I had a in-progress grade for that class at the time I sent the transcripts. I didn't bother to send them another transcript after I got my grade for comm because they said that the communication and psychology courses weren't a part of the mandatory prerequisite requirements so they would only count those courses in the prerequisite evaluation if there is a grade for it. I called them right now after reading your comment and they said they couldn't tell me right now if that was going to be an issue for my application. They said I'll have to wait for the invitation which will be sent this week or on monday. But I'm pretty sure I'll get a rejection letter. I guess I'll have to reapply ?

I've taken the TEAS already, and I understand that it takes time to go through so many applications, but that's kind of frustrating that we'll be notified by Monday the latest. That's so close to the TEAS date. 4 days before the exam is not much time to mentally prepare... ?
