College of the Canyons Summer/ Fall 2019

Hello All:

Starting a thread for those of us applying to COC Summer/ Fall 2019 RN program. I am specifically applying to the LVN to RN program. Lets keep each other updated on status.

They've updated the website for acceptances to be send 4/20-4/30. It might be a long week ?

I think that’s what it’s always been, but I could be wrong. Last year they found out on 4/20, but with the “high applicant volume” this year, you’re right: it could be a long week!

Yes I believe that’s what it always has been but let’s hope today will be the day! ?

Those are really good stats. I hope you get in. I’m also praying because COC is my first option. My stats are: 4.0 science, 3.94 overall GPA, 87% TEAS, Spanish. Along with other life experiences, I’m applying with 82 points.

It’s anyone brave enough to call and ask when they’ll be sending them out. I’m applying with 68 points and I’m so anxious

Ugh same I’m at 67 I think ??

I think it will be towards Thursday or Friday as they have record applicants this round.

I’m in the process of immunization and titers clearance , background check, drug screening, uniform fitting, renewing fire safety card and BLS. Lots to do!!

Once you guys get your acceptance, make sure you don’t procrastinate as they give you about 3 weeks to complete everything. Good luck to all!

You have excellent stats aswell!! Pretty much the same ?

I feel you. I am going over the paperwork with a microscope to ensure I do not miss anything!

Just tried to call and see if I could find out what the cutoff was and they didn’t give me anything useful. Anyone else find anything out?

Did they at least tell you when acceptances would go out. My anxiety is through the roof
