College of the Canyons Spring 2016

Hi everyone!

This might be a little too early for a thread like this, but I submitted my online application for the spring at COC and I'm so anxious yet excited!

Anyone else here already go ahead and do that? What's everyone's stats who's applying?

I have been studying for the TEAS since May, and it feels so real now that my application is in!

lets get this thread going :)

Is there anyone else who has not received the email?

I haven't received any sort of email yet. I tried calling this morning but no one picked up the phone.

I called a while ago and they said they have a few that are reviewing it should be out by the end of today. They seemed annoyed tho.

All that makes me wonder how many applicants there are this application period and how many are going to get accepted 😱

I think they got a good number of applications. One other person in my unit at work has applied (and gotten an email to take the TEAS) and another in a different unit (don't have an update on him). My sister and husband have been constantly asking me if I've received an email yet and now I understand why the people in the office are getting annoyed. :nono:

I feel bad for them in the office because I think it's literally only like 3 of them who are sending it all. They're so nice too, which makes me feel worse haha. I had to call them yesterday morning and she sounded so overwhelmed. ]:

Yeah you get your test scores at the end of the exam.

Did they tell you this? or? Because when we took our teas COC blocks it so you can't see your score right after. We couldn't see it till like 24-48 hrs after. However, it showed up sooner than that of the ATI website. FYI.

I second this ^ I didn't even take mine at COC, but most testing centers don't give it to you right away in general as well. Just a paper or screen that says scores are available on the ATI website "within 48 hours" and I got mine at the end of the following day! [:

So I waited to receive the email inviting me to take the TEAS to finally send my scores because I didn't want to pay to send them unless I was qualified. Am I supposed to get an email saying they received them or should I just call to make sure?

I'd call and find out! Or even email back to the invite e-mail and confirm with them that they received it. They are just as prompt with responding to emails as they are to answering the phone !

I done so many practice exams. Did you do the online practice from ATI?
