College of the Canyons Spring 2016

Hi everyone!

This might be a little too early for a thread like this, but I submitted my online application for the spring at COC and I'm so anxious yet excited!

Anyone else here already go ahead and do that? What's everyone's stats who's applying?

I have been studying for the TEAS since May, and it feels so real now that my application is in!

Hey i just stumbled across this thread and i have not recieved the email yet either.. I have yet to take the tease exam. Im hoping its in alphabetical order that they are going in.

I have a 3.0 overall and for science aswell.

Cross our fingers gas anyone called this morning yet? I did but the lines aere busy

I did call and get ahold of them. The man said that they are getting nonstop calls from nursing applicants (haha oops) and that they're telling all of us to wait until the end of their work day for an email because they only just begun to send out status updates and to be patient.

Fingers crossed🙏🏻 I am constantly refreshing my email app, haha. It's crazy to think though that in about two weeks and a couple days we will know admission decisions though!

I just got mine! I honestly stopped checking around 3 I figured it would have been sent by now. Glad I was wrong

have you registered for the TEAS V at the ati website yet? it says to pick College of Canyons as your location but i dont see it.

Yes I registered yesterday. It is listed under "College of Canyons" without 'the' in the title (idk why). If you need help let me know.

I created an account to use for the practice tests. Did you pick "Teas for nursing students" or "Teas for allied health"?

To help pass time...what other schools is everyone applying to and what's one interesting fact about yourself (might as well get to know each other since we're potential classmates!) :]

Me - I've applied to Moorpark as well and I actually just moved to California from Chicago, Illinois!

My apologies for the late reply I just got off work. I believe I did it for nursing, I'll check as soon as I get home.

As far as other schools, I also applied to AVC. My first choice is CoC of course because that's where I completed all my prereqs. Besides that, I wouldn't be able to start AVC until at least Fall 2016 since my TEAS was not completed by Sept 1.

I also applied to Glendale, AVC, Cypress College, Santa Ana College, and Fresno city college. I have family everywhere so thats opened a lot of doors for me.
