College of the Canyons (COC) ADN Spring 2024

Hey Everyone! Just thought I'd make a thread for COC's Spring 2024 ADN applicants. This is my third time applying and applications open up tomorrow, August 1. I will also be applying to other schools like Pasadena City College, Pierce College, Antelope Valley College, and Butte College. I wish everyone the best of luck!

Hi I am also applying! I have a quick question for the TEAS exam so you have to submit it with your application or do they email you requesting it?

The way COC works is: 

You apply in August then all applicants will receive a status update, via your COC student email, by October 13, 2023.

THEN in that email, if you qualify to continue, they request you take your TEAS exam or send your TEAS exam results.

Hello everyone! Does anyone know when we'll be notified about the next steps? I'm so anxious LOL?

The website says we will get a status update by the 13th of October

ETA it also says decisions will go out before the end of October!

Thank you!  No because I'm local to coc and need to be minutes from my kiddos just in case.. first two rejections were due to them claiming I didn't send all transcripts ( I did and proved it) told to reapply, applied with over 3.5 GPA , 89% TEAS, bachelors and masters degree and was still rejected.

Dang I'm sorry to hear that, these acceptance rates are seriously killer here.
