College of the Canyons (COC) - Spring 2025

hi! what are your stats?

Hello, this is my second time applying to COC..

My stats are: 

3.67 Overall GPA

3.0 Science GPA

4.0 English GPA 

TEAS: 74%

Certifcations: CNA

My first time applying to COC for Fall 2024 I didn't submit an employment experience letter but this time around I was able to get one.. hopefully it adds onto my application. 
I was accepted into LACONAH with an employment letter adding extra points to my application so I'm hoping this letter gets me into my first option (COC) this the second time around.

Nursing school is very hard, but I heard college of the canyons is good. Praying ? to get accepted so I can move up from CNA. 

Admitted to their ADN program ! Orientation is Nov 12. 

Still waiting to hear back from 3 other schools tho that are closer to me. ???

Didn't get in, oh well.

I was not expecting to be admitted tbh... this was last on my list because it's the farthest one.

And the urgent care I worked at as a medical scribe for 4 years didn't even respond to my request for proof of employment so I left that blank. Was this by lottery or points?

I think both? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think 75% merit base & 25% lottery?

But consider yourself lucky.^^
