Hello everyone!
I have not seen a forum for COC's Fall 2021 ADN program, so I decided to make one for all applicants to ask questions, share stats, and talk about anything relating to the application process.
Multi-criteria screening points: https://www.canyons.edu/_resources/documents/academics/nursing/MULTICRITERIASCREENING101916.pdf
I believe I calculated 76 points.. I don't feel like this is as competitive, but I believe it is worth a shot.
Good luck to everyone applying!

Same. Good to know though that we are eligible for selection ??. I know most are still waiting to be invited to take their TEAS, therefor they can’t really give us any info until everyone has completed the TEAS and then they are able to go from there on selecting students. Hoping this time around I get in. Fingers crossed ??

Same here! Well third if you count last years application process, but because of COVID it was canceled :/. I’m applying for the LVN-RN bridge program and also leaning towards random selection pool since my points are also average.

Me neither. I already took my TEAS in February, but they told me not to send my score until they request it. It sounds like these emails

Did you already submit your TEAS score to them? It sounds like the emails that went out did not mention an invitation to take the TEAS. I was told by the office to not send my score to them until they request it. I'm just trying to figure out how so many people received an email that they moved onto the next step if the TEAS invitation email did not get sent out.

What's your stats? (or in better words, points?) I think there may be a cut off for eligibility. However, they did say they'll email our status by 4/7 (tomr). So, maybe give it another day?

Congratulations! Did you already send them your TEAS score? I did not receive an email and I'm freaking out! I had 39 points prior to TEAS which I took in February and I got a 90.7, so I'm applying with 79 points. I have not sent them my TEAS score yet because I was advised not to send it until they request it. It looks like these emails went out to those who already took the TEAS? I'm so confused!

Where did you guys take your TEAS if you don’t mind me asking? I took mine at COC back in 2019 so they already have it on file (which is why I don’t need to wait for them to request my TEAS score. So this is why I got email stating I’m eligible. I’m assuming people who have taken their TEAS at COC (or have already sent them their scores from previous applications) have revived the same email I did. Hope this makes sense.

OK thanks, that makes me feel better. I took mine with Moorpark in February.
