Hi everyone! I believe this is the first thread for the Summer 2021 Application Term for Spring 2022 for the COC ADN Program. Please go ahead and share your background, progress with the application, as well as stats so we could all be more informed of where we stand. Additionally, if you have any questions or need clarifications, go ahead and shoot! :)

HI!

I am a current COC student. I just received my AA in Psychology. I am applying for the Spring 2022 year as well. I am trying to finish up my application today. If you have already taken the TEAS, do you send in your tea scores with the application?

GPA: 3.90

TEAS: 81

I’m not sure since I have taken my TEAS yet. It should ask in the application if you have taken it or not. I would open it to check!

Yeah, I recheck the application. I also looked at COC Fall 2021 ADN page and a lot of students were saying the nursing program will request it from you.

Hopefully, everything will work out. I am applying with 76 points

That’s a really good chance! I have to take the TEAS still so if I have enough points, they will invite me.

Hi everyone, 

I was on the application website and for TEAS it asks you if you have previously taken it before and says * first attempt only*. Does COC only count the first attempt for TEAS? I took it first on 11/2019 and repeated it again this year (both TEAS 6). I was curious if they'll consider other attempts...

They strictly only take the first attempt no matter how long ago. They’ll consider other attempts only if the version of the TEAS has changed. At the moment, it is still version 6.

Wow thanks for letting me know!

Do you happen to know how they calculate the overall GPA? I went to 3 different community colleges and one private college (where I got my BA) so I was curious how to calculate my GPA from all these colleges.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure. You can give the nursing department a call and ask or you can look up a GPA calculator online and do it yourself. Best of luck!

Did anyone run into a technical problem when applying online? 

I can't seem to "add" additional colleges I've attended using "+" sign. And I also can't upload any PDF files. 

I'm going to try again tomorrow and emailed the nursing office but was wondering if anyone experienced this.

Hi everyone, 

I am getting confused with another CC nursing application and COC. 

Are we supposed to upload our transcripts in PDF form or just diploma/degrees?

I accidentally submitted my application with some transcripts still enroute. Are they super strict about that? All transcripts are in now. I’m just so used to applying and just waiting on transcripts to show up.
