Hello everyone,
Please, I need your input on choosing eighter 8 weeks or 11 weeks of this two courses. And for the 11 weeks, is it okay to double it with another class or should I still do them alone. Please help, Thanks you.

In my honest opinion avoid algebra at UTA if at all possible. The class is really intense and moves quick. If you are already good at algebra then you may be okay. I attempted the 8 week class but quickly realized I was in over my head.

It depends a lot on how much you like math. I thought the math courses, especially algebra, could have been done in 5 weeks instead of 8. If you're worried, then probably extend it out to the 11 week version so you have plenty of time.
No matter where you go, it's still math. Not sure how taking it elsewhere is going to change much. If you're someone who would benefit from having a teacher directly in front of you, perhaps you could take it in person at a local community college. I thought the videos at UTA in both courses were excellent and showed, step by step, how to do each problem.
Thank you so much for your responds. Frankly, I do not like maths, not good at it, but can do it if given much time and following directions. I would have loved to do it in my local community but I dont have time. I do appreciate your responds alot. thanks

Strong warning against the math course if you are not good at it and need a lot of time. And especially not with statistics. Good luck to you.

If you are good at math, take 8 weeks course. Otherwise, take 11 weeks' or somewhere else. I am pretty good at math, but the algebra still took me a lot of time to finish homework etc. They use proctorU to monitor every exams.
Thank you so much for your inputs, I truly appreciate it. I think choosing 8 or 11 weeks will be better. Im so scared about it. May be i would try to take statistics first. thank you all.

ladyD123,
I just started the 8 week Statistics Course at UTA. just took my first quiz and made a 100. I am awful at Algebra, but this seems much different and the instructor seems great and LOTS of resources to understand the material. I did attempt to start the Algebra course with UTA and dropped that within the first day, I knew that it was way over my head. Good Luck and God Speed!
