They take a certain number based on points and the highest get picked and then a certain number from people who scored above 70 but weren’t the highest scoring

Still a bit confused. I understand the chancellor’s cut score but there’s another cut score? They should disclose that cause what’s the point of passing that and then being denied there after? LOL

So, the chancellors cut score is just to meet the minimum requirement they set forth to all the colleges. If you have an overall B in sciences and at least a 3.0 and no repeats of science you have at least a 70%. Confusing I know LOL took me a minute. So then COC has a point system saying you get various points for whatever Iike work hours, BA degree and such. So In order to even qualify for the ACTUAL program to get COC points you Need a 70% on the chancellors score. They do disclose it, or says based on chancellors score on the page describing the way to get in. Not super obvious to someone who doesn’t even know the chancellors score. Hope this helps !

Sciences 3.5, 10 years as an EMT, 81 on TEAS, over all GPA 3.7 no bachelors but 2 associates. My husband got in first semester around ? and he has a 3.0 science and 74 TEAS so I don’t know how this is happening me or any of us waiting LOL

Ohh okay. I definitely met the chancellors cut score.. I have around 3.4 GPA, 3.3 in sciences and an 80 TEAS.
even with all of all that I get 58 points in the ranking points. Here’s to hoping I get the same outcome as your husband LOL
