COC Fall 2019 Application

Hello. I created this forum for those that are applying to COC's Nursing program for the Fall 2019 application period so that we could all update each other. Have any of you applied yet? I submitted my application a while ago but my HS diploma didn't show up in the email that had my Online RN Application. Is anyone else having this same issue?

I received my TEAS invite/submit score email on Friday around 7pm. I wouldn’t be surprised if more are going out today but a call wouldn’t be a bad idea if you’re concerned.

...called and was informed they received a record amount of applications. They are still in the process of sending out email notifications.

I did not get a status update yet from COC. It is aggravating and disappointing. I did get a TEAS invitation for El Camino College though!

It is for sure. WE have to stay positive. This is a process. Yes the competition is harsh, but pushing positive energy out into the universe is essential. Finding the good in a bad situation keeps you soaring up and creates upward mobility for change. I can not tell you how many people said I would not get this far in my life. I stay away from energy like that. Where there is a will there is a way...find the way.

My husband and I both got them at like 8 on Friday ... yours is coming ! I’m sure their doing it in alphabetical order. We’re both a C last name lol. Woooo!! El Camino! My best friend just graduated from there last year !

I know ?but it’s so hard and nerve wrecking !! I know we’ll get there. My husband is actually taking his TEAS as we type lol

From what I understand applicants will be getting word regardless of their standing.

I got one last semester when my GPA wasn’t able to be calculated lol

Drum roll please...I just got my status update.

I was issued a low cut score offer, remediation plan. Complete two to three classes, of the schools choice, with in a year with a B or better. Yay for second chances.

Good news is I have more time to study for the TEAS now instead of taking it this Friday, as ECC's is at the end of this month.
