COC Fall 2014 accepted students!

Hi Everyone!

I am starting this thread for anyone who has been accepted into the COC Fall 2014 Program.

My hope is that here, we can discuss everything from orientation to whatever! I have started working on folder 1 and folder 2. Everything in folder 2 must be received by the Nursing Department by 5/29.

You will have a little driving to do but it is a very good hospital. This is my home hospital where I usually see my personal doctor.

The drive is nothing. I have been driving to burbank every day for work for the past three years. Two days a week amd half the distance is nothing for me. :). Yes, i have heard great things about the hospital as well! So excited!

Good Job Excited1 ! I still need to complete my last shot for the HBV and the titer for it but this is not till the last week of August.

Oh and also the Budge and this is after proof of registration

My registration date is Aug 12 at 2pm.... Dead line to register is August 14.... A little nervous as it is close to the due date

Anyone else facing the same issue?

Hi!!! Dont worry about your registration date. No one can register for the nursing classes unless they are "cleared" by the nursing department. Only the ones accepted are allowed to apply so your seat will be available for you.

My third and final round of Hep B isnt due until October.

Hi Guys! For the books.....did you purchase the single volume or two volume set for Med-Surg Nursing? This is the first book listed under the required text books...
