CNR 2015 applicants? 2nd degree

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows the response time for CNR 2015. The deadline was oct 17, 2014. Im just too anxious to know if i got into school. This is for the 2nd degree program ( college of new rochelle)

Good luck! I'm a current student at CNR, though I'm a transfer, not second degree (though we take the classes at the same time, I just have to take 4 gym classes, ugh). When I applied it took about a month or two to hear the decision (through the website), though it may be different for spring admission. Feel free to ask me any questions, and good luck!

You should give the head of the nursing department or accelerated department a call. Make sure to say your name every time you call and ask when acceptances will be given out. I would be very persistent in calling and asking what my chances of getting in the program were. Also asking where I stand in the line of applicants. They were always very nice and I guess because I was persistent, mailed me an acceptance letter. This had to have been the case because my GPA was shy of a 3.5, also I sent in my application RIGHT before the deadline, like a day or two right before - they said they prioritize those who send in their applications earlier than others.

Any word yet? I too am a prospective student for the Spring 2015 semester (individualized-track.)

auchiepie - Did you receive acceptance for this coming semester? I am in the same boat as the original poster, my application got there very close to the deadline. It would be unfortunate if that is held against us, as I feel we should all be measured on equal ground as long as the application got there on time. Hope you are wrong.

I actually graduated from an absn program. But in my case, I registered late, and kept calling and was very persistent. I went from registering "late," to being waitlisted, to getting an acceptance into the program. Keep being persistant! You guys got this!

nothing yet, I checked my mailbox and email everyday. I sent my application in july 2014. I think I might call to see if that helps. =( . I can't plan my life without knowing. (ex: vacation, moving, other jobs etc.)

I called the admissions office on Friday asking when I would receive a decision letter, and they said this week the letters would be mailed. Last year my friend applied for fall 2013 and recieved her letter of acceptance a week later. This year my other friend applied for fall 2014 and she didnt hear for months.

Hello Everyone,

I know it was asked before, but I would like to know if anyone has received a decision for the second degree program? I hope everyday that I would get good news. I tried calling admissions; However, I keep getting transferred to a line where no one picks up. I was wondering how did you both get in contact with the appropriate person.

Good luck everyone. Make sure you check the website (I assume it's the same for spring admissions as it is for fall), as they also put the acceptance letter there. That's how I found out first, then I got the letter in the mail afterwards.
