I am preparing to take my CNOR exam in December. I have had conflicting advice on what I should study. My manager says to study Alexander's, but my friends that have taken the exam tell me to study the AORN CNOR guide, which I have. My manager adamantly advises AGAINST studying the CNOR guide, but I can't see how it is possible for me to study an entire textbook for this exam. Any suggestions?

Go with the AORN Standards and Recommended Practices. Most of the CNOR exam is based on this. To suggest that you study Alexanders is ridiculous! Good luck! You'll do fine! :redpinkhe
