Thanks Silverdragon102. I forgot to include in my message that I appealed to CNO registration committee by using their Language Proficiency: Other Types of Evidence specifically review by the registration committee (employment or volunteering in a non-nursing role, such as a personal support worker ) it's in this link:
Language Proficiency: Other Types of Evidence - CNO
I am working as a personal support worker in a retirement and home care setting for almost a year now while waiting to complete my registration. Hoping for somebody or who knows someone who did the same to share their experience. Thanks in advance.
Hi there, I know this post is old but was wondering if you could email me on how you sent the letter to the CNO as my language proficiency just expired and wanted your insight on how you did this. Thanks! [email protected]
Hi Aman,
I received a CNO email that says my application also sent to the registration committee for review but did not receive the letter you have. I don't know what this means. Just be prepared for the case they ask you to send additional letters explaining your ability in the use of English from other references. Wish you luck.
Cheers,
