cno language proficiency

hello. is there anybody here tried to appeal their language proficiency to cno registration committee after not making the minimum benchmark? I tried appealing to cno and already submitted a letter a week ago together with other requirements. thanks

Requirements are there for a reason, you are expected to be proficient when speaking so don't be surprised if they say no you need to meet benchmarks

Thanks Silverdragon102. I forgot to include in my message that I appealed to CNO registration committee by using their Language Proficiency: Other Types of Evidence specifically review by the registration committee (employment or volunteering in a non-nursing role, such as a personal support worker ) it's in this link:

Language Proficiency: Other Types of Evidence - CNO

I am working as a personal support worker in a retirement and home care setting for almost a year now while waiting to complete my registration. Hoping for somebody or who knows someone who did the same to share their experience. Thanks in advance.

Hi Comarxx,

I also referred my file to cno for language proficiency. Would you please like to tell me, did they accepted yours reference letter from work for language proficiency.

Thanks very much.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing good.

Did you get your language proficiency approved by CNO.

Thanks

Hi there, I know this post is old but was wondering if you could email me on how you sent the letter to the CNO as my language proficiency just expired and wanted your insight on how you did this. Thanks! [email protected]

Hello Aman,

Thank you for sharing your CNO letter.

I think whether they pass your language proficiency depends on how you and your employer write the letters.

What kind of employment did you do and apply for it?

I hope CNO will pass your English proficiency.

I do office manager

Hi Aman,

I received a CNO email that says my application also sent to the registration committee for review but did not receive the letter you have. I don't know what this means. Just be prepared for the case they ask you to send additional letters explaining your ability in the use of English from other references. Wish you luck.

Cheers,

SYC

Did they also siad in the letter regarding not satisfied something I have a letter bit I also sent additional documents too
