Most people become an RN without becoming an LPN. RN programs can be more competitive to get into. Look at programs in your area to find out what prereqs are required. You will want to decide if you'd rather enter an associate or bachelors program and would be wise to do some research about the job market in you area (or where you'd like to live after graduation) because in some areas it can be next to impossible to land a job without a BSN. Best of luck

Don't know where you're from? I've never heard that it's difficult to be accepted to a RN program without becoming a LPN.
Go to your closest community college and talk to a counselor. Don't rely on what you "hear" from unreliable sources.
Some nurses start as CNA's, apply to RN programs, don't get in, (not because they aren't very qualified, but because there 100's of applicants for 30 openings). They then apply to LPN programs so they can get started on their journey to become a RN.

No need to do LPN. Just get into an RN program.

Where is "here"? I don't know of anywhere where it's difficult to enter an RN program without being an LPN. Most RNs were never LPNs.
Also, just going to leave this here from your thread about Neonatology:
Uhhh I know what a neonatologist is.....my questions were does getting a degree in ultrasounding count as my bachelors degree because I need a bachelors in pediatrics first...second question was how do I find a med school that I can further my education. I am in the RN program now at a community college....are you saying that I'd have to go to a college that's specifically for nursing? And who can I talk to to find schools around me?
How are you in an RN program but at the same time think you can't do one without being an LPN?
