CNA LPN RN School???

Published

I have 4 semesters of nursing pre-reqs, as well as my CNA. I don't want to go to school for another 2 years to become an LPN, then another 2 years to become an RN. What schools would offer a fast track LPN, or straight through to RN (if that exists?).

I also don't want to wait until next fall to start, this summer would be ideal. If the schedule works for me, I would be willing to go to just about any state, although I would prefer FL.

Thank you in advance for any advice, google doesn't seem to be much help on this subject =(

Murray State College (do not confuse with Murray State University) is a community college that has a registered nursing program in which the only prerequisite course is one semester of college level chemistry. One year of high school chemistry can be accepted in lieu of the one semester of college level chemistry. The school is located in Tishomongo, Oklahoma.

There is absolutely no need to become an LPN prior to becoming an RN. I don't know where you live, but I would imagine there are any number of community colleges and state or private universities that offer both ADN and BSN nursing programs in your state.
