I have the enrollment form filled out, ready to fax. I'm starting to get nervous!! In the last 3 months, I have worked on pre-requisites: Eng101, Math, Human Growth & Development, and Information Literacy. I also took a Medical Terminology class. I had really wanted to complete Microbiology, Health Safety, and Transitions before Oct 1, but it's not going to happen.
My thoughts alternate between fear of actually DOING IT versus why didn't I enroll a year ago?! The big changes about to take effect Oct 1 have been my incentive (mandate!) to do it now! I took my sciences more than 5 years ago, and I don't want to lose those credits.
So now, standing at the edge of the pool, dangling my toes in the water is about to end! The October 1 deadline is the fast approaching big bully that is about to shove me into the water!!
Who else is ready to start this wild ride??!!
I took boring Transitions; pick one that you feel good about; great way to build your confidence.
Transitions does look pretty boring! I will probably take that one at the same time as Ms Piggy!
Micro looks interesting... (my LAST pre-req), or I could just jump into Health Safety. It may take a while to process the huge # of enrollments they got this week, so at least I could do any of those right now!
Of course, my payment was processed first thing this morning!! :)
Well guess you made it then! I just checked to make sure they processed my payment in time. I sent in my paperwork and CC on th 27th and it cleared on the 28th-yea!
I do wish we could get Federal loans for this program-but at least they will let us stretch out the tuition fees so it isn't too painful.
