How often are you in class and how often are your clinicals?

Specializes in Adult Med-Surg, Rehab, and Ambulatory Care.

It's changed since the beginning but I started out with lecture twice a week, lab once a week and clinical once a week. Now it's lecture twice a week (M-T) and clinical twice a week (W-Th).

Specializes in Cardiology.
One day of Theory (8-3:30), two days of clinicals (8-3:30)

Mine is set up the same way except I'm taking night classes, 3pm-11pm.

In the fall (junior year, BSN program) we will spend 2 weeks each month in lecture (8-5, Monday-Friday) and 2 weeks in clinical (6-2, Monday-Friday). Right now during summer session we're not actually in clinicals, just practicing things in skills lab.

This schedule pretty much stays the same until spring semester senior year, where only 3-4 days a month are spent in lecture, and some months no lecture days at all.

Specializes in Gynecology/Oncology.

My first semester I will have classes on Tuesdays from 8-5, Wednesdays from 8-12, and clinicals on Fridays from 7-3:30. I don't know about the following 3 semesters.
