Clinicals start Monday

We statred School March 10th, we just made the 3 month mark out of 13 months.

We start clinicals monday. I am excited and scared.

I just need a hug We started with 38 student and are down to 21.

We start pharm. the week we get back from clinical

You'll do awesome! I was really nervous to start clinicals but I am learning so much and I'm learning what I enjoy....you'll be surprised!

Hey, congrats! I'm in week 6 or 7 (I really have lost track of time, we started May 5 if you want to do the math) of an 11 month program, and week 3 of clinicals. We have lecture/lab m-t-w and clinical th-f for the rest of this term. I hardly slept the night before our first clinical day because I was so nervous; now I'm finding it hard to sleep because I'm so excited! I'm learning so much in clinical that I could never learn from lab or lecture. For example, transferring a fellow (reasonably able-bodied) student from a bed to a wheelchair is a lot less complicated than transferring a 250-lb. cognitively impaired person with limited weightbearing on the left leg due to hx of NOF fracture. On the other hand, that fellow student would probably not blow me a kiss in gratitude for finding her favorite shirt in the bottom of the closet, where it had fallen off its hanger. I love clinical!

We did full morning care on pts and helped with feeding

clinicals are the best part of nursing school it is where you will learn the most!have fun and good luck.
