Hey! I am just starting this forum to see who else is applying for Clayon State's Spring 2012 BSN Program. I just applied and now the waiting begins..
Jase they basically asked about strengths n weaknesses. Also how your life wouuld change once in the program and how's ur support system. And my lady asked me if I caught a classmate cheating what would I do. I was nervous but it wasn't as bad as I thought! Everyones going to do great! Good luck to everyone! And mom 2011 I wore a skirt to my knees with a button up shirt and asuit jacket w heels. Just anyhing businesslike works:)! I wnt to find out if I'm in now! I wonder if we will find out sooner than 2 weeks!
Yeah that's the only question I don't think I did too well on. But you'll do great! Just try to turn a weakness into a strength. For example I said I tended to put others before myself. But she kept asking me questions about that afterwards so I hope it wasn't the wrong thing to say. Has anyone else had their interview yet?
@Jase, shirt, tie, dress pants and dress shoes is what I wore so it's fine. And when answering weakness questions you have to back your answer up with how are you working towards over coming your weakness. Don't just say my weakness is ... and leave it at that. You should tell them that my weakness is ... but I am currently ... to work on my weakness for the future.
You should definitely get letters by the end of this month. I receive my letter March 28th so that should be around the end of October for Fall. As you already know, they should have your letters before registration, which is in the first week of November. You should start looking at what your schedule will be looking like for Spring!! Let me know if you have anymore questions. Good luck everyone!!
We had clinicals at the long term health care facility earlier in the semester and it was OK. All we did was basic care like morning care, med administration and vitals signs. We are learning skills now for the upcoming clinical rotation in the hospital which is in two weeks. In this rotation we will be doing more hands on stuff like assessments, IVs, would care, tube feedings and more fun stuff like care plans! *sarcasm* lol
