Just thought I would get a forum started as we await the decision. Everyone feel free to post your overall GPA, math and Science GPA, and TEAS scores. Also why you want to be a nurse and what specialty you would like to work in?

I originally wanted to be an OB/GYN, but then I got pregnant and decided I would just become an account (math is my favorite subject). After my stay in the hospital (labor/delivery & postpartum) I decided I can still be in the hospital setting if I become a nurse. I want to be an OB/GYN nurse.:heartbeat I eventually want to become a certified nurse midwife.
It basically said that you should schedule to see an advisor so that you and your advisor can go over your gpa and test scores with you etc...they will not accept walk ins because it will be very busy for them next week.
My adviser sent the email. The email seem as if it was really for pre nursing students who are still have a lot more pre reqs to take. Since most of us have already applied we should already know what the deal is. I still need to see her so that she can remove the hold and I need to find out what my math and science gpa is and I can probably talk to her about my chances of getting in.
I was advised via email. All she said was there are a little over 100 applicants that they are reviewing and we should definitely hear something before summer registration starts. She couldnt give me info as far as my chance of being admitted. We should be looking out after spring break since they actually work during spring break. My friend actually has an appointment with her advisory next week.
