I originally wanted to be an OB/GYN, but then I got pregnant and decided I would just become an account (math is my favorite subject). After my stay in the hospital (labor/delivery & postpartum) I decided I can still be in the hospital setting if I become a nurse. I want to be an OB/GYN nurse.:heartbeat I eventually want to become a certified nurse midwife.
Thanks a lot for the good luck wishes. I would take A/P and Psych only. A/P is a lot of information especially in the summer! Plus do you have to do a lab? Psych is a pretty easy class, most of the time you do papers, but I took it @ 3 years ago.
Make sure you get a good GPA and do especially well on your math/sciences class.
Always talk to your advisor they lead you in a good direction.
If you take Micro get Collins, he is a great teacher.
By any chance did you email your advisor about when we will hear something. I remember when my friend had her interview she called her advisor up in about one week and she told her over the phone that she got in.
I am really nervous about it and just want to know.
first semester 6hrs for tues and weds for two weeks. second semester tues and wednesday for 8hrs. then after that for 3rd and 4th semester 12 hr shifts

So we will only have clinicals for 2 weeks this fall? Well 2 weeks for each class I suppose...so 4 weeks! Wow...though we would be in clinicals ever week. Does anyone know the schedule? I know OB/GYN is not until later but...i'm super excited!!!!! UGH! I hope I don't end up with a horrible Patho teacher....especially since it is such an important class. Lisamac do you still have your recordings??
No I didn't ask my adviser. And I don't think she would tell me over the phone. What is your friend name??(just trying to see if we have the same adviser)...I'm super nervous!!!!
They do like mini semesters and I do believe you have clinicals twice a week. We usually dont know the schedule until we go to the open house thingy, Mine advisor is Keisha and so was hers, but another girls advisor was christy and they both told. I am really nervous about it all and hope that I get in for the fall and not be on a waiting list, the suspense is killing me not knowing! Yes I have all my tapings of my patho class, not sure they will be good for other teachers or not. It is a cool class and one of my favorites.
Is there a way that you can email them? or put them on a dvd....or cd. So wait I'm confused. At first you said first semester 6hrs for tues and weds for two weeks....now I think you saying we have them twice every week of the semseter? That's my adviser too. I will probably call her Friday! If you call her before then let me know...LOL!
I guess we also need to wait until we get into the program to find out everything we need and not get too worked up. We need to chill out I guess and relax.
