  1. Hi Everyone... Just wanted to share some great news. I'm a single mom and trying my best to seek whatever funding available so that I don't have to go back to work until at least my second semester. I heard on the radio about a program called Homesafe Georgia so I called and applied. It works... if you are currently unemployed and/or in my case receiving unemployment you may qualify for Mortgage payment assistance for up to 24 months. Here's the website if interested https://www.homesafegeorgia.com/. A true Blessing!!!!:)
  2. I'm concerned about the sizing and material of the uniforms. Please let me know about the sizing of the uniforms. Are they running big or small? I can't wait to meet you all.
  3. I wanted to share what happened to me regarding my tithers. I went for my results and it showed that I was NOT immune to Hep B even though I had the 3 series of shots in 2011. That was a bummer!!! I was soooo disappointed. I wasn't sure how that could happen. So now I have to take the whole series again. The cheapest I could find was at the Student Health Center for $40. So I'm having to pay an extra $120 for shots again.
  4. http://www.heart.org Go to Find a course: You will have option of classroom or online http://www.heart.org/HEARTORG/CPRAndECC/FindaCourse/Find-a-Course_UCM_303220_SubHomePage.jsp
  5. I went to the Student Health Center today for my physical, PPD test and tithers. The total was $80. They said I should have my results by Monday when I go back to get my PPD results looked at. It seems like these days are moving pretty fast. I've decided to take the first part of CPR online then go to facility for skills session which is only 1 hr. Im looking forward to meeting everyone at the open house. Thanks for all the information!
  6. [ I'm going to get tithers today. How long does it take for results to come back? Also I was wondering about uniform sizing. QUOTE=milesamelia;7980024]I am currently doing part 1 online...I'm planning on doing the skills session portion some time in the next couple of weeks, probably either in Atlanta or Duluth. I am also waiting on the results for my titers. Has anyone ordered uniforms yet? Is it just me or does it seem like they run REALLY big?
  7. Has anyone taken there CPR class? Any suggestions on the location? I was thinking about taking Part I online then go to a facility for the skills session. Is anyone else planning to do the same?
  8. Does anybody know anything about the instructor?
  9. I was able to register for fall semester.
  10. HI Everyone, I paid for the background check and wanted to schedule the drug test for sometime in June. For some reason it did not give me an option to schedule, it simply gave me a form to take to the lab. Did anyone else have this experience?
  11. I plan to take my documents to the school on Friday. I dont want to take any chances. LOL!!!
  12. Has anyone sent in their acceptance response, along with their information?
  13. Its a pleasure to read the post and the encouragement and congrats to everyone. I pray that everyone that has the desire and passion to get it does make it. From my understanding its alot to prepare for the upcoming Fall semester, so I'm hoping that this post can continue to share important information regarding the program. One of my biggest question is the class and lab schedule of first semester. Does anybody know what the scheduling is like 1st semester?
  14. I got my acceptance letter today. I feel so blessed. My GPC gpa 3.83... Believe it or not.. My teas was a 65.. But 73 and 75 on math and reading. Im sooo thankful!!!
  15. Good luck everyone!!! Now the fun begins.. Lol!
