program: adn (rn)
what area of interest at this time: definately emergency room (gotta love the stress)
biggest fear: last semester of school.. this semester is 8 weeks of ldrp/peds and 8 weeks of med/surg, and oh yeah they added a nursing trends and management class that will be the full 16 week semester and is only a 1 credit class.
my biggest fear? failing my last semester
what you'd like us to know about you: i am married and a mom of 3 boys --twin 8 year olds and a 6 year old. i work as an lna in an er in nashua nh definately ready to move on. what i think is so great about the er is, it's never boring, always different cases coming through the door. so er nursing is for me, i will be specializing in trauma nursing the grosser the better.

Biggest fear: that all of a sudden i realize that i've been spoon-fed this whole time and now i'm in over my head!!!
What i'd like you to know about me: this whole nursing career thing has given me a new lease on life and i'm so excited about it. now i actually have a 5 year plan for the first time in my life.
i'm the type of person that if i know there will be stresses down the road, i try to prepare and give myself pep talks in advance, hoping i'll remember some of it when i need it. so, for now, my pep talk is this: i know i'll be so nervous, but if i can just adjust to the new "nursing style of testing" that i've heard so much about, i'll be fine. i'll give it my best effort, which got me to this point.
ok, good luck to all of us!
